I have always thought of depressions as a description of suicidal people. I guess its not really true.

Therapist said that depression could just be feeling rejection or hopeless.

I feel hopeless but never wanted to die.

Is there more to it then hopless or rejection I think I am pretty good at coping on that level I feel anxious and rejection and negative but not Suicidal.

I figure hopeless has its own meaning and is apart from suicide and even rejection these are all different things for sure. I always hear anxiety and depression are closely tied I would only say I am anxious.

My rejection and negativity only lead me to optomistic planing.

Depression is unique for all sufferers and only some of them have suicidal feelings.
It is even possible to have depression without generally feeling 'down' - I know because that is what I was like in the beginning.
Have a good search around the internet for common depression symptoms if you want a clearer idea of what 'depression' feels like.

Ideation of suicide is a criterion for Major Depressive Disorder, as defined in DSMIV.

Marvolo: Stati, as much as I wish that were a valid conjugation of status, it is not. Status is the only conjugation of status that I'm aware of (assuming that status quo and status-esque, whatever that would mean, do not count).

I've always had this vision of slicing my mother's adam's apple wide open with a huge butcher-knife.
Is this normal? Confused
