heres the deal.... for one thing having SA and being a guy as far as dating goes, I can TOTALLY sympathize with you on that. I know that must be tough to be the "initiator" and all that. BUTTT heres why it still sucks for girls ...

From the outside, people see me keep to myself, and probably think im just really stuck up since if some one asks me a question I respond in a quick or maybe even rude sounding way just cause I dont want to sound dumb (id rather sound rude than "loose control" or whatev in front of some one)... So first of all guys dont even want to approach me as far as people that dont know me. People think im unfriendly, when deep down they dont understand how much id LOVE to be friendly and outgoing!

So anyway, SA makes girls esp. unapproachable. Ive run guys off after a while cause A. i will say something stupid or be in a bad mood from SA and be rude B. im probably not outgoing enough for them.

So even once you "get one" just holding relationships in general is hard for ANY one, im sure guys and girls both...

And then some one else said this, but girls (maybe guys too) fanatsize about their perfect guy. Ever since age 5 girls have their weddings planned. We expect our knight and shining armor to sweep us off our feet... ok maybe thats a bit much. But I do know that i every once in a while let myself like some one and become soo in awe by them that given any oppurtunity to talk to them i will freak out and not do it. I am SO picky that i do have the occassional guy that i can feel completely fine around, and be myself around... then he starts to like me ... and of course i cant like him back cause thatd be way to easy ... BASICALLY guys that i dont like, like me because they are the only ones i can be myself around!

YA so theres the run down... and our "fate" as we know it... pretty much convinced SA just sucks for anyone who has it. but read other posts besides this one so its not depressing!!!

im in the same boat with you... i always think about having a gf every single second of my life and its killin me.. i just want it to stop but can't..

I try my best to not think about not having a girlfriend. I think that thinking too much about things we don't have will drive us crazy.

Do what I do, think about those in relationships with people they can't stand. That should help.
