Likewise here, I will most likely spend the evening at the computer with the windows closed so I dont have to hear the rest of the neighbourhood parties erupting in a cheer at midnight.
Or I could do what I did one year and think of something I can be the first to do in the new year. That time round I was the first person in the new year to watch "The Longest Day" a classic war film. Yeah I know that sounds really loser-like but it helped to think that I was unique in my own right and doing something that noone else was doing.
Maybe we could have an online party for those of us not lucky enough to have friends or fiances.

Most likely doing nothing special. I usually go with family and friends to go watch the fireworks over the harbour. It's a comfortable walk to go to the viewing spot and little traffic to deal with. I'm not overly happy with my lack of friends, but I'd much prefer to be doing nothing than to be in a mad panic over New Years.
Cheesy as they are, here are some fireworks photos from last year.

Yup, Sydney. I don't watch them on TV if I can help it. Loathe the commentary and commercialism. There's something special about being able to see them for real. I guess a lot of the magic comes from family tradition really.
