I am a male, 38, living in Glasgow in Scotland. I am a big movie fan and rent films through the site lovefilm.com (a bit like Netflix in the US) as well as occasionally going to the cinema. I also love my coffee and am often in my local coffee shop reading a book and enjoying a latte. When I have money (not right now, I'm in between jobs) I love short visits to cities like London, Paris, New York, Barcelona, and Buenos Aires - Barcelona is my favourite I have been to Spanish language schools several times. My girlfriend is not able to travel as she has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and I don't really enjoy solo travel for more than 4 days at a time (I get lonely lol). So in future I expect any two-week holidays I take will be to Spain as I have found that everyone goes to these language schools by themselves but it's so easy for a shy person to make temporary friends to hang out with and I really enjoy that a lot. I once went to a language school in Cusco, Peru for three weeks (the main goal was to see the famous place Macchu Picchu nearby) and those were the happiest three weeks of my life just hanging out with nice, positive, people interested in learning about other cultures and many of them were doing voluntary work so they were high-character people too.
I am becoming quite a bit more social after years of being shy and suddenly feel myself taking much more interest in other people after being wrapped up in my own problems. Lastly I should say I am not fussy about the person being the same age as me, anyone up to 12 years older than me or 15 years younger than me (i.e. 23 to 50) I am sure I could find something in common with.
