Some of you may remember me from my time here. I moderated the forums up til a few months ago. But in June of this year, we had a very persistant troll who singled me out because he asked me a question that I couldn't answer. He took that as me being obstinate, so he hassled me relentlessly on the site and flooded my inboxes with (death) threats and neurotic messages. He continued to sign up under different IDs long after he'd been banned, leaving me horrible messages on each one. I freaked out and dropped the site like a hot potato. I haven't been back until today. So I want to apologise to everyone I neglected in the meantime, and say sorry for not being around to moderate since that time. I'm sure you can understand how I felt though, since I go through all the same sort of fears and phobias as everyone else on the forum. Hopefully I can get back to posting, but we'll have to see how it goes.

I'm so glad to see your post..not glad about the harassment and shit..that sucks Sorry it went like that, it's really too bad that a few immature insensitive dimwits have to ruin it for everyone else..i, and likely everyone else, understand how difficult it must be to suffer from anxiety, and try to moderate a forum..and put up with all that crap. As you can likely see, we are in need of mods badly..are you still considering that? or no. I have a few people who have expressed interest in helping with the moderating. I couldn't agree more with you guys. I've had enough of coming across offensive images and opinions on here. I'd offer to be a mod but I wouldn't want to be in Kinetic's position! Who would? I wouldn't even want to have to sort through all the offensive images. Some of the images are shocking. I hope I'm not being soft here. I'd seriously rather not come on here just to avoid seeing the images.

As for moderators, I really think we need people who have kind of proven themselves. Maggie, reholla, tampa bay, sickofbeinglonely... folks like them have posted a lot of good stuff and have shown a real interest in the well-being of the forum. Hopefully we can get some respected people like that.
