Avert comes in both pill form and in a wipe form. Both the pills and the wipes come in different strengths. Some people have success using just the wipes and some people have success using just the pills.
I used 2mg pills taken once a day and it worked. I was completely sweat free!!! It's been a while since I have used them because I am now on a high does of a prescription med and wasn't sure how the two meds would mix but I think I am going to get back on the avert pills anyway so I can take my life back.

Can you use these meds on the feet for plantar HH? And is Avert a wipe or pill?
Avert is the capsule form. The wipes are called "Secure", but they're both the same med--glycopyrrolate. I'd e-mail pharmacy.ca to ask about using on the feet. They're quite knowledgeable and good about replying.

I have just ordered some secure wipes and a trial size box of the avert pills - they were expencive (with the shipping and all), but worth a try as i have tried everything else .
Question - i could not see on the website any information about how they work? - how do the secure wipes differ from eg dricol (aluminium chloride solution)? and how do the pills work?

anyone know?
The wipes contain a chemical which stop and inhibit the nerve signals which stimulate sweating (It doesnt act on the sweat glands) , it have a completely different action to dricol as that block the sweat glands. The pill work the same way as the wipes but it affect the whole body (systemic) as it is absorbed internally .
Mate, I am in UK (Manchester ), I tried to order the wipes from pharmacy.ca but I am not too sure about how the currency exchange rate work , it displayed ($82) with the delivery charge , how does it convert to £ on my account.
I heard that the pills got some pretty bad side effects (very dry mouth) , thats why I dont want to order them , but the wipes are defo on the shopping list. One of the member on here, Pinker, have ordered the cream (simlar to the wipes) from the doctor. So I may just try and ask the doc for it as well ( i doubt he will as my doc is a tw*T), I tried everything else like Driclor , Idrostar but none of them worked so far.

It's roughly 1/2 that in £. As of today, it's $1.96 CAD to £1 BP. So, ~£42. www.xe.com is a good site for currency exchange.
Dry mouth's not so bad. Just compensate by chewing gum or sucking on a sour ball.
