I would take the word of my psychiatrist over some random pot heads' when it comes to a debate about the negative effects of marijuana. Considering he actually has patients whom he treats for marijuana induced psychosis I think I am correct in taking his word over yours.
I look at it this way, marijuana has NOT been proven to reduce psychosis therefore it is not beneficial for people with psychosis. Therefore there are two possibilities, it has either no effect on psychosis or induces psychosis. Given there is evidence for the latter I have the opinion that marijuana is bad for your health.
I personally don't care if anybody smokes pot but when they end up in a psych ward I don't have much sympathy for them.

Shrinks get paid plenty to prescribe a bunch of toxic chemicals to people with emotions. But I do sympathize when these patients end up sick or dead from side effects. I guess being anti-natural remedy also means you lose your ability to empathize. Maybe that's why anti-pot people are so fascistic.

So doctors are allowed to continue their legal drug dealing, prescribing drugs that kill millions of people per year around the world, while cannabis, a drug that has never been proven to do any harm to anybody, leads to psychosis and the looney bin for anybody that uses it?
I've listened to my doctor over the past 4 years about this and I've gotten nothing from it but a serious addiction to Klonopin. I'm weaning off and switching over to medical marijuana legally in a couple of months, so I'll let you know when I hit the psych ward...
