Life, its not that I don't really know, but just want to clarify, what exactly is so bad about your life? I find it it helps if you write your problems down, you can help cure them better.

Lifesnotfair- I guarantee you haven't tried "everything under the sun". You may have tried a lot of different stuff, seen many different people, but that doesn't mean you're incurable or can't be helped. I'm no psycologist (although I'm studying to be one) but from your posts and even your screen name, I can tell you are playing a lot of self destructive mind games.

First of all, drop the label "social phobic". By thinking of yourself that way, it makes it seem as if a phobia is real and tangible. It's not. Think of it this way- in certain situations and by thinking different thought, you experience fear. Not only that, but you probably fear your fear.

Now, if you could just think of those emotions as just that, emotions, you wouldn't be thinking of killing yourself. But you obviously aren't thinking that way- as I said, you are playing destructive mind games. To give an obvious example, you are playing the "It's not Fair for Me to Have These Problems" Game.

I know how you can be helped right now. Not necessarily about the social phobia, but about your depression. You should talk to me. Do you have an IM screen name or an email? And remember, your emotions are just emotions Wink

i agree with everybody here, but mostly Raoul. Think of how lucky you are to be able to have this experience. Maybe you should find some hobbies you already have. For example, visiting forums is a hobby, even if you don't think of it that way. Also, I could recommend writing, and fictionpress.com (sorry if this's spam).

my philosophy is "you can always *****, so why *****?". whenever you want to, say you'll just do it later. Procrastinating helps!

i agree life seems hopeless and mechanic in the long run, (i.e. school, work, death) but who knows, it may have some surprises to offer. like the people that are going to miss you on the internet, including me. Smile Do it for the people!

Hi PisceanWisdom,

Just ignore the idiots that do come to just insult people.

Obviously they have nothing better to do, they are probably computer geeks, sitting behind their pc with no life.
I am a lady but if I met up with Timebomb in an alley, his balls would be removed within a few seconds Shocked

Again don't take any notice of geeks like him - his new ID should be NoBalls Laughing

annie...a strong aussie lady Wink

Look who's dishing out the childish insults. How hypocritical can you be, Annie? I suffer from many, if not more, of the same problems as lifesnotfair. However, he starts a thread on the internet [with complete strangers] saying, "Oh, life's not fair! And don't tell me it will all get better! Crying or Very sad because it won't." Is there any purpose of bitching and moaning if you aren't looking to get help?

It seems to me he just wants attention and nothing more considering he has "heard it all before".

But, I don't know. Maybe us internet geeks have a different outlook on things

Wink
