How do I disable blocking of instant messages with Internet Explorer? Smile

I get a cursor sometimes shaped like a hand with an exclamation mark.

Hey Colin
I know it was ages ago you posted and hopefully you cracked it yourself,if not or for anyone else who is having the same problems.
1-Click tools at the top of the explorer screen
2-select internet options at the bottom of the list
3-select the privacy tab
4-There should be a box with the details about pop up blocker at the bottom of the screen select settings
5-Okay enter the address of this website into the exceptions box,the address should now appear in the "allowed sites"
6-Now on the filter level select low "allow pop up's from secure site's"

That should of hopefully sorted it.

Is there any way to disable the 'mini messenger' instant messages? I'm afraid to log in, because instant messages cause me severe anxiety. I know.. it's ridiculous. Sad

you could get a pop up blocker...try going to googles homepage and dling it...thats what i use (looks like guests can post again...yay?)

that happens to me too Cassie...i never get the instant message instantly...i don't know why Rolling Eyes
