sucks doesn't it? I go to parties or gatherings only if i know that a friend of mine is attending it. I wouldn't able to cope on my own, trying to mingle in with the crowd.
And when i do perhaps start some sort of interaction with anyone, i am most likely to create an idiot of myself, trying to sound interesting to others. Then i analyse it all, from start to beginning, what i should have said, what i regret saying and the list goes on.

i can say defiantly your not alone

welcome pauly88 hope you like it here. I can totally relate, I am going to a party on Friday and I have been obsessing about every little detail from when to turn up to excuses to leave early. The anxiety is really kicking in and I know it's because I keep telling myself every possible bad scenario, so today Im going to really try to monitor my bad thoughts and change them to possitive ones. I'll see how it goes.
