I hear a lot of people specifically talk about excessive sweating under their underarms(which I have),face, hands, feet etc. I dont hear anyone mention it anywhere else. I get excessive sweating even when I just take a stroll and its so much sweat on my back. my whole shirt is drenched in sweat. I also get it really bad under my breasts. Do you all think this is still considered hyperhidrosis? And when I exercise its bad too! my whole shirt is drenched with sweat and I'm in shape. Would the same meds used for hyperhidrosis that I usually hear about work for me in those areas that I am having a lot of sweatin in... do you think?

I will speak to a dermatologist(s) soon but I wanted to see what I could do first because I saw a doctor.

HH isn't just limited to underarms, hands, feet, and face. It can be anywhere, however, since those are the most common places people sweat it's simply more common.

In my own personal experience I sweat mostly in the common areas but I too also sweat uner the breast line, and in between them as well. I live with that though and am currently only treating my underarms (easily the most severe) with botox injections.

Truthfully I'm not too aware of the treatments for HH in all places, I would suggest doing a quick read-through of some of the posts around here to see what has worked for some people.

yea i know exactly what you mean. i mean i describe my HH as axillary ie armpits, because thats the area where its the worst but honestly i have it pretty much everywhere. just like you, if its hot or im exerting myself in any way or even if im just a bit worried, my back, my trunk (belly/under breast), neck, groin, back of knees start sweating.. basically everything! and i have noticed recently that my hands are becoming sweatier as well! arghh such a nightmare!!

I too sweat under my breast, between them, and down my back, basically everywhere except my head. However, like others have mentioned it is not my main problem area. For me I am most concerned with my armpits. I think most HH sufferes at one time or another sweat all over there body but it probably doesn't happen on a regular basis or it isn't as severe as on their hands/feet/armpits. Also I think it may be a bit embarassing to tell the doctor all of the intimate places you sweat. It is easier just to say "I sweat under my arms."

This is just like me - I have had problems with underarm sweating for a really long time. I used Driclor for years, which worked great and I even forgot that I had had this problem for a few years. Than a little over a year ago the underarm sweating came back. And with it came this wonderful back sweat and under the breasts sweat. I am almost 30 years old and this is the first time in my life I have experienced this.

I find this far worse than the underarm sweat to deal with. I am so frustrated. I recently moved abroad which has exaggerated the problem (warmer climate) and I am seriously thinking about moving back just because of this. How lame is that?

I am going to try to apply odaban to my back, however driclor stopped working it seems for my underarms and I'm not completely sure odaban is working there either. At any rate, this is driving me nuts and making me depressed.

ya I noticed ppl always talk about hh on their hands, and hardly anywhere else

I have it all over my body except my hands (I think god put me here to piss off all the ppl with planar hh).

so far I've tried drysol and it doesn't really work, and it is so painful.

my back and butt easily sweat the most, then my groin, chest, legs, feet...

I find I'm fine as long as I am situated close to a fan/ ac unit/ large body of water to jump in.
