Hi SA-ers! Smile

I've found this website by the accident. I'd like to introduce myself but
only shortly. I'm 16 and have social anxiety - although I've never been to the psychiatrist's I found so many texts about the shyness and s. phobia that I'm nearly sure...

But it's not all. I have in addition (as if the SA was too little...) some
serious chronic disease which is called colitis ulcerosa - it's an inflammatory bowel disease which additionally makes my life really hard. If you don't know about its symptoms (you're fortunate if you don't!), you can read about it in the net and you will understand all). The future perspectives in this disease are also very disquieting, probably a serious surgery operation may be necessary.

The else additional thing is that this disease demands from time to time going to hospital and staying there for even 3, 4 weeks. Have youy ever been hospitalized? If so, you know what it can mean for a social phobic. If not, you can try imagine it... Besides the normal hospital activities (venflons, syringe blood sampling and connected things...) you have to survive it with your phobic feelings! Staying with one or more persons in similar age in one room, where doors have a window, necessity of going to the common toilet, or the common meals in the lunchroom are, i think, quite easy to generally imagine (and the stress related to them)... Sad

I am very, very interested - is here anyone else who also have both social anxiety and the ulcerative colitis? I've searched in the internet about similar cases but I'm afraid that such a combination is very, very rare - maybe I'm the only man with both those diseases in very large region?...

I'd be glad (but it's poor consolation) to hear that some of you have
similar problems. Maybe you have also some other illnesses, let's say
what.

See you!

Oh, dear... Sad

Your life seems to be really hard, judging from the above... Sad Sad

I feel great compassion with you, you know. The hospitalization always is very unpleasant experience, even for average people.

I don't know anyone here with such problem, but try, and you'll probably find out more inthe future, I hope.

I wish you much health! Wink

Cheers!

Ale zabawne, nie ma co. A poza tym, to skąd wiesz, że to laska, he? Question
Z tekstu to to nie wynika. Byloby fajnie, jakby się okazał(-a) facetem, nie? - i pewnie to by ci się najbardziej spodobało!... Laughing Laughing Very Happy

Ano właśnie - szkoda, że na tym forum nie zawsze wiadomo, kto jest jakiej płci; po polsku to chociaż można wywnioskować z tekstu.

Pozdrawiam cię euforyjko. Smile

qwerty77..i think an easier solution would be for you to write in polish if you wish, but then to add the english translation afterwards, after all, we would all appreciate being able to read the posts Exclamation
