Hey Everyone! I'm new here and want to introduce myself. I'm a 24 year old grad student and I have probably had anxiety (primarily social anxiety) for most of my life. It finally got bad enough that I talk to the dr. about it and was diagnosed about 3 months ago. The dr. first gave me Celexa, which didn't help and I am now on Paxil. I'm waiting to see if this will ease the anxiety.

My anxiety has made me alienate myself from some of my friends and has made it hard for me to reach out to others. Even posting on this forum is anxiety provoking for me....we'll see how it goes!
