Hi, anyone out there been on diazepam? does it ever work? my doc put me on low dose of 2mg, said that should at least calm the fear, and higher doses of 5-10mg were reserved for people in complete state of panic. 2mg did nothing for me, neither did 4 or 5. I'll try 6mg next time im off to certain situation that triggers it for me, which may be a while cos tend to avoid as much as possible! Hav to say, wont be taking this continuously, just when i need it most!
Anyone had tremendous results from diazepam, at what dosage?

hey, I wouldnt start taking it if I were you. Diazepam (valium) is part of a larger group of medications called benzodiazepans (sp?). I have taken one of these (Klonopin) for 3 years, and now I am trying to get off- and it is hard! these are very addictive drugs (not like your typical antidepressants). You might want to do your own research, before you look into it. A word to the wise though, my uncle was addicted to diazepam for 10 years... this is not something that you want to play around with![/list]
