I dreaded the same thing in school, even at work now I dread any kind of attention coming my way. What can be helpful to some people, is breathing deeply. When you breathe, in through the nose, out through the mouth, and expand your stomach, not the chest.

How long is the poem? Try not to rush through it, read slowly and concentrate on the words, not their eyes. I know it's easier said than done, just try.

Let me know how it goes.

If any one is wondering how it went, I was fine. I was so nervous before it was my turn I thought I would be sick! I went up and tried to laugh it off, my friends were all joking around at how they felt so nervous they thought they would pee themselves! I was sort of thinking about my blushing, but mostly focused on my poem and my friend who it was written about. I may not have been red, but man was I shaking! Laughing Before I knew it, it was over. I asked my friend about it after and she said I didnt blush at all. Im so glad its over! Wink
