My shyness is brought out by my disabilities, yes I'm gonna share it with you. In the flesh I don't talk about it much, because I feel if I do, they (woman) will not be interested in me.

(1) I'm blind in left eye
(2) I'm hard of hearing (wear two aids)

All caused at birth, mother had measles.

Don't consider myself good looking by any means, just an average joe type, quiet, conserative type. Most of the time things are fine except when it comes to woman I want to meet. I just cannot get myself to ask them out. I feel everyone will know what I'm up to (especially family) and I don't like that feeling. I just want to feel good about interacting with someome I like.

I have NEVER been on a date with someone I wanted a date with, always got turned down and I'm sensitive when it comes to being turned down, two times is all I can take, because its the same thing as putting your hand on a hot burner. You gonna kept burning yourself when you know what the answer is??? I don't think so.

You wouldn't even know my disabilities exist because they are hidden, my hair is long on the side covers the aids most of the time, unless you are looking hard at the ears, the eye, different story, you might notice it. And because of these its also made me camera shy, I don't like my own picture.

Never had a girlfriend, in fact, I don't even remember the last time I was on a date, I think it was back in the early 80's.

I keep myself busy with my activities, racing, hunting, bowling, darts but every now and then I get lonely.

Anyways, I don't know what the answer is, found this site and would much rather find answer amoung people that have the same problem, maybe someone who has conquered it is still around to help others.

I'm not getting much younger and I know I'm behind in my generation, everyone's married and got kids and I"m still trying to figure everything out. LOL, no I know what sex is, its just getting to the point thats been struggle.

Come on girls...help me

Nah. I bet you a million bucks that's how you're going to find the woman of your dreams - the one who doesn't give a shit about that and likes you for who you are. Try talking about it, share the burden instead of keeping it locked up inside.

Just a thought, homeslice. Life is short, make it rock. Peace!

The mentality everyone is pushing is to say 'fuck it, just do it and who cares' Thats easier said than done.

I'm trying to work on getting this gal that works in our family restaurant to go and have a beer with me. But the trick is when to go about it.

I used to work in our family restaurant, I would give her a hard time and try flirt with her, but thats has far as it got. Now I no longer work there, but I go and eat there quite a bit. I gotta figure out how to make this move, lol
