Yes this happens to me a lot. My parents especially when they tell me to get a job and when I want to just get out of the house and take the car they complain. I argue a lot with my brother and don't talk to my sister anymore after her boyfriend beat me over the head and I had to get stitches, she thinks the whole thing was my fault and took his side.
My Mom seems pissed when I am home, everything I do seems to make her mad.
Then when I leave, she gets irritated about that.
My sisters don't have much in common with me, except that they always find me to be the ass of the joke, except one.
The one, as I mentioned usually doesn't stay around for long, she usually goes off her meds and finds some a**hole to hang around with, so there's always some distance.

Back when I was living with my mom we used to argue every day. She moved to France.
I lived with my dad for a while. We didn't argue much. Mostly because I avoided confrontation at any cost. In both cases I just felt like a giant burden, and was always uncomfortable.
Even though I'm extremely lonely now, living by myself, I am relieved because I don't flaunt my miserable existence in my parents' face as much as I used to.
I never thought people actually got along with there family, except on "leave it to beaver" but they did not get along all the time either. Social Darwinism I guess holds us together.
