Oral: Avert and Robinul

Hello all-

what would you say is the average dose for avert and robinul? I read one person say they take 6mg a day (http://www.askapatient.com/viewrating.asp?drug=12827&name=ROBINUL)

..that seems to be the upper level of dosage.

How much do you take? How long does it last? I'm trying to figure out the best dose for me.

I take 4 to 6 mg of Avert (same as robinul) depending on how hot it is and how active I am.

My pharmacist said up to 8 mg a day, in divided doses.

Trial and error is the only answer, and it will vary anyway--in the colder weather, and if not too busy, I don't take it at all.

But--aside from a little dry mouth, I suffer no ill effects, and it has made a huge difference in my life. Hope it works for you.

I want you to be aware of possible side effects though with a high dose. On the Msn forum there is a current topic where a few people are suffering impotence with the tablets.

I got by on just 2mg and it would last just about the entire day. But as stated earlier trial and error is the only way to know. Start out on a low dose and slowly increase it each day until you achieve the desired effects. The higher the dose the greater the side effects will be.
