ween off ativan help

ive been taking 1mg/day at bedtime since january. i want to stop. do i need to ween off or just stop? also, if i do need to ween off, how? like .75mg/week for a week, the .5 .....

If I was you I would seek the help of a doctor who knows how to get you off it properly. I would guess you should reduce your dose gradually over time rather than just stop since Ativan is addictive and has withdrawal problems and considering you have been on it for about 6 months when daily use should be limited to 2-4weeks.
