Suffering in silence
Suffering in silence
Because fear holds my tongue
Wishing I could explain to you
The great burden that I bear
But I can’t
You might judge me
Because you will not understand
Being unable to share
And unable to reveal the problems that have become who I am
Isolates me from the world
So not only will I suffer in silence
I will suffer in it alone



Shattered Mirror
It lies in pieces
Just giving a distorted reflection of others and the world
It is a part of nothing anymore
It lies in pieces
Waiting to be put together again
But even reassembled
It’ll be permanently damaged
By cracks from a tremendous fall
