Umm ok, So I just found this forum this morning..did some reading, looked at posts and Wikipedia...and I really think I have Avoidant personality disorder...I recently saw my doctor to deal with what I thought was depression and anxiety, and started taking Zoloft - But now I am 99% sure that I have AvPD...so what do i do???

Hi c03fordstang. Welcome Very Happy
I think gettin' info. on ur own is a great idea. It can help u understand what might be going on w/you. & Zoloft helps a lot of differ. symptoms too. So, I would suggest u keep taking the meds. you were given but when u see the doctor again let him know ur concerns. Let him know what you've read & that u think it might pertain to you. He can help u from there.

Welcome to the club. I´m also very new at this.
I discovered I have AdPD by my phychiatrist and phychologist.
From my point of view it´s better to know what ill you have in order to face.
