It's a very good first poem. It could be more poetic, but this was your first try, and I've just gotten too used to critiquing people on writing. I really like the idea "It's broken because it's still growing". I think that as long as our hearts are growing, they will break.

Thanks for the feedback helyna. The bf is the poetic one but he stopped writing now lol so I thought I'd give it a try haha. I really needed to let my feelings out that day. The best thing about it was that I felt better afterwards. I never knew poetry could be so healing.
