I haven't had the confidence in the past to write on a forum but I want people to know not to give up hoping of having a normal life. For me, it has been moving away to uni in the halls of residence which has made everything change in a short time. My life has been 10X better - I've got lots of people I talk to and I've only been here for 3 weeks. Its just sort of clicked together which I never thought would happen. Since starting uni, my personallity has completly changed. I am no longer held back by social phobia - I say what I want although I still panic a bit, but I don't let it get in the way.

I feel moving away to uni may be my only way to break out of this, both short term and long term (securing job prospects). Thanks for the post, it gives me some hope at least.
