I feel like i can't talk to girls casually because i'll usually start to blush and think that they might think that i fancy them even if i don't. it makes me sad because i'm really lonely right now and just want some friends.

It happens a lot at uni and it makes me feel sad. Sad

if i went to uni with heaps of nice girls i probably would too- Don't beat yourself up about it or its a catch 22 you cant get out or it gets worse. step back compose yourself and try to see if you can control it or laugh about it even- there has got to be something. I dont get as embarassed aabout sex talk any more because I can be srious or laugh about it

I understand where you come from. In undergrad, I used to tremble and sweat when I was around women. If I was attracted to them, I would feel heart palpitations and I felt like I just wanted to run away. Blushing. Yes. Butterflies in the stomach. Yes. I hated it.

i think, that you think, the chick will think your into her when your not, because your own thought patterns make you feel guilty. Much of the time, the same rules that apply to what you would be open with to other people are the same ones which you should follow privately in your thinking.

It sounds to me like you view every girl as a sex object first, and anything else second.
