I was sitting last night (early morning) watching the tv and then somthing just came into my head for no reason at all, it just hit me that i have never said those three words out loud to any one in my entire life as far back as i can remember "I Love You" it made me sad a little that i have never had anyone in my life that i have felt that way about Sad , so thats my mission in life now too find someone that i can say those little words too and mean it Wink

I have said them over and over in my head a million times before but never out loud to anyone, so i said it out loud while sitting there myself just to see what it sounded like and i kinda had to force it out it just didnt feel right for some reason, awe well its just a random thing i thought i would mention Razz

Romantic wise you have never? - you have to your family though? - but that's even hard to do, it was easier when i was little. You're right about being hard to get out, three little words but with so much meaning - and they make you vunerable, which is hard to be. I hope you find that someone you can be your most vunerable with and utter those three little meaningful words to.

I don't think i've ever said it not even to my family, i'd probably get a strange look as well if I said it to my family

That's funny. I always tell my mom I love her, I tell my dog I love her, I tell Jesus I love him Smile But I know what you mean I never told a guy I love him. I can't wait to tell a guy I love him even if he looks at me like I am wierd...I own that feeling and its great.

Taws that actually sounds like a lot of fun. When i finally get drunk again and have a liquored up sense of confidence i might give it a go. Laughing

And Scottish_Player, Really, not even when you were little and it was 'safe' to say it. Well in that case i hope you find that person to say it to sooner rather than later. Very Happy

I think the whole dynamics of my family would disintegrate if anyone said 'I love you' Shocked
theres a bond between us all, but its based mainly on arguing yelling and piss taking

It is good being able to say it out loud to someone

My mum and dad are pretty free with it - but i find it difficult to say - why? Don't know - even when i know there is no possible chance of rejection because they have just said it to me. I find that i can say it more easily over the phone though. How does it feel? - Weird and nice at the same time - even if the words aren't spoken you know that your family loves you sure - but it's nice to hear it sometimes - in a way it is reassuring - i should keep that in mind when they say it to me, they may need that reassurance as well.
