I just got back from a party and I was with lots of
people that I didn't know. There were some people there that were my
age, but whenever I tried to talk to them, I would freeze up, or not
talk to them at all because I was afraid they might think I was stupid.
and I am REALLY shy (let's put it this way, in kindergarten, when anyone
tried to play with me or talk to me, I would run away and cry in a
corner by myself!) Does anyone out there have some tips for me to
overcome my shyness so I can meet new people and make more friends?
Thanks much!

ShyGurl Smile

P.S. If it helps any, I am 13

Bambunie, you have a very good advantatge: You are very young. You have the chance to end with your problem easily than an older person. I recomend you to tell your parents your problem, and visit a psychologist. It will help a lot! Or if not, go to the school's psychologist. Don't make the same mistake than I, wait until now. I'm 19 years old, and I had the chance to change when I was in the same age like you. A lot of things probably had changed! So ask now for help, ok?

see you!

I totally agree with LEXUS, you may heav done it by now but telling someone about it is the best thing you can do. Thats one thing I regret doing I battled with it being more then shyness for about 2yrs please don't do the same. You have a chance to have a good life now, don't live it in fear or silence.

Let us know your progress Very Happy
