Has anyone else read this poem? I can (and I think all social phobics can) relate to Prufrock in so many ways.

This part in particular -
And indeed there will be time
To wonder, ``Do I dare?'' and, ``Do I dare?''
Time to turn back and descend the stair,
With a bald spot in the middle of my hair--
[They will say: ``How his hair is growing thin!'']
My morning coat, my collar mounting firmly to the chin,
My necktie rich and modest, but asserted by a simple pin--
[They will say: ``But how his arms and legs are thin!'']
Do I dare
Disturb the universe?
In a minute there is time `
For decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse. _________________ "As we are human, we can't do what we can't do; as we are neurotic, we can't do what we can."

I can also relate to this poem by Christina Rosetti which is entitled 'Aloof' and which i have been described as
THE irresponsive silence of the land,
The irresponsive sounding of the sea,
Speak both one message of one sense to me:—
Aloof, aloof, we stand aloof, so stand
Thou too aloof, bound with the flawless band
Of inner solitude; we bind not thee;
But who from thy self-chain shall set thee free?
What heart shall touch thy heart? What hand thy hand?
And I am sometimes proud and sometimes meek,
And sometimes I remember days of old
When fellowship seem'd not so far to seek,
And all the world and I seem'd much less cold,
And at the rainbow's foot lay surely gold,
And hope felt strong, and life itself not weak. _________________ "As we are human, we can't do what we can't do; as we are neurotic, we can't do what we can."

Lets pretend
I CARE NOT FOR YOU, YOU CARE FOR ME
I AM MOST IMPORTANT, MY FEELINGS COUNT MORE
I LOVE ME, WHY DO YOU NOT
I CAN HEAR ME, WHY CANT I SHOW YOU
WHY CANT YOU SEE, FOR JUST ONE MINUTE THE PAIN INSIDE OF ME
YOU DO NOT CARE, YOU DO NOT SEE
YOUR TALKING WITH ANOTHER PERSON, NOT ME
HERE I AM, STANDING ALONE, IF YOU JUST LISTENED IN THE FIRST PLACE, I WOULD NOT MOAN.
MY LIFE IN MY HEAD
