Hey all, I think I'll be asking my dermatologist for a Drysol prescription when I see her in a few days. I've read up on this product a bit and have found out that there is a "mild" form (6.25% aluminum chloride hexahydrate) and the "extra strength" form (20% ach). I'm assuming there's no strength in between, but what are your experiences with Drysol? I haven't read anyone else here talk about mild vs. extra strength, so what are your thoughts on this? I'm pretty sure I have severe axillary hyperhidrosis as Certain-Dri hasn't helped at all and I've been using it for 5 days now. Help!
I use the 20% form, and find that I need to apply it every night. I don't think the 6.25% solution would help me at all, so if you have severe hyperhidrosis, you should go with the stronger one.
I've also discovered that when the bottle gets close to empty, it starts being less effective, maybe because the stuff is more diluted. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this. It's probably good to refill early.
