Medications for Blushing

I've had some serious facial flushing issues for the past 13 years. Just prior to seriously considering surgery, I told my doctor I was at wit's end and they had better think of something for me. He ended up prescribing me small doses of CLONIDIN. I took it for 5 years and I noticed an incredible decrease in flushing and more importantly, a decrease in that nasty hot and itchy/impossible to explain discomfort that comes with it. I have stopped taking it and I have noticed a slight increase in those similar past feelings but, all in all, it has helped me tremendously to live some semblance of a normal life.

If anyone has any over the counter suggestions, that would be helpful as well. Ask your doctor about CLONIDIN. It was quite literally a life saver.
