It's not about me. It's about spreading the word about this natural remedy that has been given a bad name. It's valid medicine, and so many people have been brainwashed about it, leaving people like me to clean up it's name. I consider myself a voice for marijuana in this forum. Just because it needs at least one in my opinion. Gettin over 5000 views on this thread is a start. I consider that a sucsess.

Peace

I completely agree that Marijuana should be legalized or if not fo rthe public at least for the people who need it but are afraid of using it for fear of getting in trouble. I use it and it helps me relax.

Well said sarah. Marijuana doesn't harm anybody. I think once we get the views in government changing as the newer generations of politicians come in, they will correct the wrongdoing that the government has done in the past with their marijuana laws. Hopefully anyways...

Is it ok to keep a man in jail for a crime he did not commit?
No, it isn't...

Therefore, it is right to prohibit the smoking of a plant that has done no harm?
No, it isn't...

Haha what a farm! Can you believe that a police force would use so many resources just to eradicate a bunch of weeds? Putting these people in jail and burning their plants is not policing our communities, it's just pissing a bunch of otherwise peaceful people off. It's not like new dealers aren't going to move into the market. It's a market that will always stand no matter what bullshit cops and government officials do to try to stop it. If they removed prohibition from alcohol, why can't they just do the same with pot? They're just wasting resources and money fighting the "war" against it.

Hehe yeah its ment to be one of the biggest found in the sunny uk,and on top of the 8000 they initialy found, they have found another few thousand in the cellar Shocked

Tho we might have a difference of opinion on its medical uses.... couldnt agree more with what ya said, tho the busies only found this by sheer luck, apparently a little fire started and thats what they found when they got there.I wouldnt go as far to say there harassing peacefull people tho.... I mean theres alot of money to be made and dealers often make an example out of people who dont pay up.But yup theres always going to be a market... and if they legalise it,they take it out of the gangs hands. So yeah everyone wins really.

You got it man. I'm not a big fan of the government, but I'd really like them to tax marijuana. It'd stimulate the economy, reduce national debt, and remove thousands of people from jails and prisons who have been incarcerated for simple possession. I still think distribution and trafficking should be illegal, simply because it leads to crime. The governments needs to regulate the markets and the whole situation would be under control. They will have one the "war on marijuana" by conceding to the point that is is absolutely harmless and even beneficial in some circumstances.

One of the reasons I think marijuana remains illegal is because the government knows they won't be able to tax it; the dealer system has existed too long for it to be completely replaced by commercialized pot, and taxing it would only ensure the continuity of underground growing. Why buy it from licensed dealers when you can grow it yourself for cheaper? This trend can be seen with medical marijuana (most opt to grow it themselves than buy it from the medical marijuana dispensers). Neocons want nothing to do with anything they can't profit on.

On another, has anyone had any success with getting a medical marijuana license in Canada for the treatment of anxiety?
