Do you think calling suicide victims cowards is in anyway respectful to the memory of the beautiful people who decided that psychological pain was too much to handle?

I am far more disgusted by your unfair judement (how you get your high and mighty status to be so judgemental I would like to know), than by anyone who I believe was unfortunate enough to believe that death was better than life, even though their circumstances were superior than those in third world countries.
You must remember that your mind is strong and it appears you believe in a future beyond your problems. Some people don't have this resolve and it is my concern that you have offended these people to the point where maybe they think, yes I am useless and petty, maybe I should 'do it'.
Don't forget, there are those of strong mind in the third world who strive for a better day, but there are also many who suicide because they can't handle the emotional torture of their squalid circumstances.
Get off your soap box. There is more to offer in the way of love than there is to offer in the way of blame.
P.S. Come on people: being aggressive helps nothing. You are right this person is far too judgemental, but we must rise above the useless insults. Calm down, intelligent argument is far more useful than mindless insults that only incite rage.

I understand the anger, but if we continue to yell at each other like this we will never reach a concensus. (Clearly this isn't as possible as I would wish).
Yes, I know. I am also very concerned for anybody who enters the practice of this-is-y-im-hot (a very confident nick for a social phobic by the way), because it appears she is more concerned with pushing her view point (i'm asuming this is a female), as apposed to being objective as a true psychologist/therapist/psychiatrist should be.
However, this-is-y-im-hot has a right to speak here. Would you prefer social phobia world became a dictatorship where certain views are kicked off while others are endorsed? We need freedom of expression (including those of the suicidal) in order to truly challenge each other.
It's hard to believe you counselled anyone let alone suicidal people like you say.
And what type of compassion did you show them?
People here have real problems that consume so much of their thinking and actions - it's hard to get over this - that's why suicide is seen as one way out.
You should act as a persuader against suicide not as an agitator against people here.
