I'm doing good right now....I actualy have some good feelings going on about myself as of late.
I am making some great progress as of late physicaly & even mentaly in my opinion....of course the mental part could all come crashing down pretty easy at any time as you all know. But right now...I do feel decent about my current progress. I have even been entertaining thoughts lately of doing a few things that in the past I would have never even dreamed of...so yes...right now I'm feeling pretty good.

Awrrr thanks No need to be sorry tho its not like its your fault, and fingers crossed its just a bad patch and will get better. But glad to hear youve been doing ok,must be soo hard for you with being at school still,i dont know how you cope.
But anyway i hope you stick around on this forum, theres some really nice people and it really helped me when i first realised i had social anxiety (how long have you had it if you dont mind me asking?)and still does help just talking to people who actualy understand. And you seem like a really sweet caring person im sure you will make mates if you havnt already.Anyway i hope your mood and what not carries on being ok

2crowded: thats good =] it always gives me hope when i see that people who are going through the same things are making progress. and yeah i've been the same lately, but my mood changes all the time...at the beginning of this week i felt terrible; so i never really know when my life will be going good or bad.
dan: i'll cross my fingers too =] and yeah it is hard i really dont know have i've made it through this year, but i have so thats all that matters.
yeah i think i will, i've noticed that too, a lot of people have already helped me a little.
i just recently found out i have SA, but i've always noticed that i acted differently from others and was scared to do things that normal people were not. so i think i've had it since about 5th or 6th grade but it got horrible this year(i'm in 9th) everything just came crashing down and i turned into a hermit almost. but i've been getting a little better and like 2crowded said i too am staring to do things i would never have even imagined doing in the beginning of the year.

I wouldnt wish sa on anyone, but must be a relief to be able to put a name to your problems.I remember before realising i had sa i really didnt know what was happening to me it was horrible, when it really kicked in.
Its good to hear you feel your getting a little better tho, might be worth getting some help through school or your parents if you can... theres all sorts of help out there such as c.b.t and acceptance therapy. And i mean your already sort of beating your anxiety and doing the hardwork because your facing your fears everyday by going school.

yeah i mean i had always been a little shy but once i got into high school(my middle school is connected to my high school) i just felt i dont even know how to describe it but i did not like it....because in elementary school your in one class and so everyone gets to know everyone and it makes it easier to make friends, but in high school and middle school its definetly not like that.
i would get help but i just dont know how to tell anyone that i need it. its just really scary for me and i know you should be able to tell your parents pretty much everything but i've lost that connection with my parents...thats partly why i like this website so much because i know that people understand me here...i just dont think my parents would. but yeah school does help a little because i am forced to go there, but sometimes it makes it worse because i feel alone there usually.

maybe that's because you are shy yourself. I think shy people are usually looked down on.
