Basically what I'm asking for is some requests on games to look into.
I'm feeling a MIGHTY NEED!...for some sci-fi.
I'm looking for suggestions on good Sci-Fi games, specifically rpgs but I'm not limited to other genres.
The consoles I have are: Xbox (original and 360), all Playstations, and PC.
The games I already have in this category are:
Mass Effect Trilogy, Star Ocean (I have 3 and 4), Xenosaga, Halo
I am planning to get Alien: Isolation (but I also meant games that are more futuristic, space travel and lasers and whatnot).

Anyhoo, thanks ahead of time for any recommendations

You want to know how I got these scars?
Although I haven't played it to this point (I may do so soon though) 'Star Wars, The Old Republic' is supposed to be quite good.
Also, Star Trek online is also supposed to be pretty good too.

I don't play too many sci-fi games... Starcraft 2 maybe? If you're into RTS games and haven't tried it. I hear that Eve Online still has a good following also.

Here's some great games for PS3 and Xbox 360:

Vanquish, is probably the most underrated game ever. but it is awesome.

Dead Space, or Dead Space 2

Red Faction-Guerrilla

Crysis, or Crysis 2

Fallout 3

XCOM- Enemy Unknown

XCOM is pretty good, it wasn't even my kind of game but I loved playing it. I suggest giving names to your soldiers (I named them after characters from shows I watched), it'll feel much sadder when they die. It's also nice to see them evolve and become the best in your team.

Don't know if Deus Ex: Human Revolution counts as sci-fi, but I've been playing that and I'm enjoying it. Just remember that playing stealth doesn't mean you have to take the enemies all down silently, you can just skip them without being seen. I didn't realise this the first time I played so I didn't like the game, sometimes I couldn't knock them down without being seen and I got bored. Then I realised I was being stupid, I could just skip them.

I actually have played Crisis 2, for some reason I liked it but couldn't manage to play through it a second time, Fallout 3 on the other hand....so...sooo many hours spent on that. I actually kind of forgot about Red Faction-Guerrilla, isn't that made by Volition?
Im going to look into Vanquish, maybe I'll be lucky and they'll have a demo

I had to look that up, I was thinking of Knights of The Old Republic (also heard it's really good) if it has controller support I may have to give that a go, assuming its on Steam and everything.

Red Faction Guerrilla is awesome, everything is destructible I spent to many hours just destroying stuff.

KotOR 1 was excellent, and the sequel wasn't bad either.

If you like empire-building games, Sins is awesome.

Sins of a Solar Empire®: Rebellion on Steam

If you can handle rogue-likes, I recommend FTL.

FTL: Advanced Edition

Both KOTOR games are definitely in my top 10 of all time.
If you have an original Xbox and you've never played KOTOR, you're missing out. It was the spiritual predecessor to Mass Effect. Maybe the story's not quite as good as ME, but I actually liked the combat better. It was more tactical.

Haven't actually played it myself, but System Shock 2 is highly recommended by many gamers if you don't mind the older graphics.

If you don't mind retrofuturism you could check out Fallout 3, I love that game. There's also New Vegas which I didn't like as much but is probably still worth checking out if you like Fallout 3.

I've heard knights of the old republic is very good too but I haven't played it.

I didn't like New Vegas to much either, I always felt like I being punished for exploring, which is not acceptable for an open world game. And I had a lot of bugs, more than Fallout 3 surprisingly.
