Robinul dosages and other questions

Hi there everyone, I am new here and I am extremely happy that this place exists! Anyway, I'm 24 and have sweated a lot most of my life and only recently took the initiative to do something about it. About two weeks ago I got a prescription for Robinul Forte (2mg) and, so far, the results have been mixed at best. I'm a big guy, not really fat (I've lost about 40lbs in the last year and seen no real effect on the sweating) so I had a few questions, mostly about dosages.

1. What dosage do you take, and does anyone know how much effect your body type/size has on the effectiveness?

2. Does anyone know if taking too much Robinul can lessen the effects of the drug (I take 4mg per day in the morning and I only see a little improvement), and, is there a "tipping point" at which the drug will suddenly kick in more fully (i.e. If I bumped up to 5mg)?

3. Has it been proven anxiety/depression play a role or is the use of antidepressants only to help the social anxiety?

4. Does anyone have much experience with other drugs and know if perhaps I'd be better off trying another med or possibly topical solutions (though my HH is all over, especially my armpits and, unfortunately, butt)?

5. Have you had good experiences with Odaban? I want to try it, but I kinda wanna know (and I feel so stupid asking this) if it works on your buttocks, since that is one of the most embarrassing areas to get sweat stains.

Thank you all so much, this forum has really given me the hope that this is a problem that I can, at least, minimize and hopefully more or less put behind me and get on with my life.

PS - I'd also appreciate any tips on where to get the drug for cheaper (I know about pharmacy.ca)? I went to Walgreens and my insurance only payed $9 so it was $50 for 30x 2mg pills!

I take about 2-3 mg per day and I weigh about 105 pounds. From what I have read on here, I get the impression that body size does have an effect on how much you have to take for it to be effective.

Did you get the brand name Robinul? They have it in generic form, get that. Most drug stores offer generic perscriptions for $5-10.

I ordered Odaban the other day and I'm going to try to use it in combination with the Robinul. Has anyone tried this?

Also, as far is I can tell, Robinul is the generic version. Most pharmacies have $4 prescriptions, but I don't think glycopyrrolate is on any of their lists.

I'm pretty sure Robinul is a brand name. Anyway, I get my generic prescription at Jewel-Osco. I think any pharmacy should be able to order it even if they don't have it in stock.

I'm a large guy and currently take 4mg of generic form glycopyrolate. It's only $10/month with my insurance in the United States. Any less than 4mg and it doesn't seem to work at all for me.

I tried Odaban before this, and it only worked once, the initial time I used it. It completely dried out my armpits to the point that they were so red and dry I simply coule not move my arm with incredibly painful burning. That effect lasted for several days and I was completely dry for those days. But after that it did not work for me whatsoever. Have not tried it on other problem areas though.
