Robinul for post-ETS?

Hi, I'm fairly new to this board, though I've frequented upon it in the past few months or so. I had ETS performed on me 4 years ago for Palmar HH and it simply led to extreme compensatory sweating on my torso and feet. I've been interested in Robinul, but my doctor won't prescribe it for me because he doesn't know anything about it. Is there any way I could convince him the side effects aren't dangerous or detrimental to my health?

Personally, I'm also curious as to if there are any long term side effects (daily dosages for multiple years) and if it will work for my post-ETS sweating. Most of the posts I've come across are for people who haven't had ETS yet, so I was wondering if it would work the same way. I'd appreciate any input, thanks.

I haven't had ETS so I don't know from experience, but I don't see why it would work any differently. You doc just needs to do some research on it thats all. Of course he can't be expected to know everything about every drug. You might try explaining how other people have had success with it and ask if he will give you a trial size prescription.
