He is considering it at least. For those that don't follow basketball, Artest was known as just an insane crazy person during the first few years of his career. He started the infamous brawl at the Palace, which can be seen here.
More recently, Artest's demeanor on and off the court has improved greatly. He thanked his psychologist in a post game interview after winning the nba championship.
He is attempting to raise awareness in schools about mental health. Kudos to Ron, who was once my least favorite player in the league.
