Last Friday I was invited to a party from someone I barely know. I asked a few friends of mine to go with me but in the end they decided to bail. I was asked to still come and I was feeling high anxiety, very nervous, uncomfortable. But I forced myself to go and meet people I didn't really know. It ended up turning out way way better than I thought.

I seem to have problems with the Unknown. If it was a party where I knew the host or a few people it's a no brainer to me and I just go. When it comes to a new place, new people, a new atmosphere...etc I seem to become nervous. But whatever, I need to force myself to do more stuff anyways. The unknown and I will soon become friends.

Today I went out for dinner with my family and since in was St Patrick's Day and we were going to a pub, it was busy. But it's not in the city so people were getting drunk, there were just lots of people there having dinner or having a drink...anyways! I was fairly comfortable for the whole thing, and stayed and had a pretty relaxed and enjoyable dinner with my family!
So yay!
