I was busing tables as a teenager at a very ritzy restaurant and I accidentally dumped ice water on some guys lap, while attempting to fill his glass!

Hahah that kind of stuff is inevitable when you deal with serving tables! One time, I was carrying a tray full of ice waters (at least 6) and was heading to the table... well I accidentally dumped the tray all down the front of myself. I just had to laugh. It is bad when it involves someone else, though!!

I worked a Sonic Drive In and guy who used to work there parked in one the spots outside (for those you who don't know, you buzz in with an intercom and order your food), \I expected to be him when the buzzer rang (could have sworn I saw him press the button too).
I was on good terms with the guy and answered the intercom with "what do you wan't?" (jokingly of course)......it wasn't him, it was the car next to him....

I get those second-hand awkward moments as well. As if my own awkward moments weren't enough..When I'm in a store by myself for example and some random person starts talking to me because they believe I'm the person that they're there with. Then when they look up and realise I'm not I end up feeling awkward as well.

I just find it funny when it happens to me. In fact, I can even tell it's going to happen, since I see the person they were talking to walk away without them noticing and I stop next to them without them noticing as well. I don't do it on purpose, but I don't try to avoid it either.

I wore my shirt inside at work the whole morning. I hadn't noticed until someone pointed it out to me.

LOL! I did that one Saturday morning. Went to the grocery store and didn't realize it was on inside out until I got back home.
