When i first started taking it i had headaches every day but they went away after about a week and a half. If your insomnia and nausea are really bad i'd go see your doctor soon. You are taking it in the morning right? cuz if you're taking it at night that is probably contributing to the insomnia. Anyway i'd say just go see your doctor and see what he/she thinks. It's not right for everyone so maybe he/she'll start you on something that will work better for you.

naseua and insomnia are some common side effects when first starting taking paxil (seroxat). they usually go away within a few weeks. But, like Echo said getting off paxil can be a harsh experience- for me it was terrible. The severity of withdrawling from paxil varies from person but it is not uncommon to have an extremely difficult time stopping taking it. It was very difficult for me--also like Echo, paxil worked very well for me, but I shall never take it again. I had never experienced a panic attack in my life until I quit paxil. Also, I had very strong electric shocks in my head-- these weren't the shocks commonly described- like mild static electricity across the brain- mine were actual electric shocks- it was very disconcerting to say the least. Even when tapering off of paxil slowly these symptoms can be experienced.
