Hi everyone! What a nice sunny warm day we have here in Eastern Europe
I know it's not healthy to browse these forums as they're filled with negativity. Anyway, thought I'd share my good experiences that happened today.
I went to town with a few buddies and we did some pick-up (i.e. talking to women in hope to get new contacts/relationships). I haven't been doing this for about a year, and what a refreshing 2.5 hours that was!
Just saw a pretty girl, nudged my buddy and said, "Hey, should I go talk to her?" He said "Yeah, do it!". So I went, despite ALL MY SOCIAL ANXIETY and other BS I believe(-ed) I may have and just said to her "Hi! Your white sweater looks so nice! Makes my day lighter as well!", smiled and went my way.
Hey, it's not half as hard as it seems. The only thing you have to do is act before thinking, and I believe this applies especially to people with social anxiety, and in all situations regarding dealing with people.
For example, I'm planning to do what my friend has done: go to the McDonald's in our old town or other such place and sing in front of all the people (being sober of course). Just to get a good feeling from where I can proceed with some nice pick-up.
To sum it up: people, do the things that scare you (positive things of course), don't think too much before, and you'll have a much better control over your life gradually. If I with my social phobia can do these things, you can, too. It won't harm to be a man of action instead of being a man who achieves nothing by trying nothing.
Have a beatiful day/night!
