"SPIN" a Social Phobia test

I was just looking around the internet for social phobia stuff and found this
Psychology Tools Social Phobia Inventory (SPIN)

its a test of somesort that rates your social phobia level.

My Score was 56.

Scores in the 51 - 68 range indicate very severe Social Anxiety.

I got a 53, these things always confuse me though so I may have rated some things too high

^ I have the same problem. They tend to confuse me a bit too, so I think I may have rated a few too high.

I got 56, but I definitely don't feel that I have very severe social anxiety.

I may have scored some things too high, but I agree that (especially in regards to authority figures and criticism) my SA is very high.

^Mine was 34. I hope I can make it mild by working on it. I'm not sure about blushing though, I do get red when I'm out with others but is it because of blushing or because of sun? I've a sensitive skin lol.

Mine is situational social phobia.

Mind you I dont put much faith in these so called tests anyway.

Yeah I was about to say.... what do you mean, situational? Isn't SA situational by nature? Or do you mean it only acts up in certain situations?

Situational as in... in certain situations.. I have great difficulty giving speeches, going to parties, job interviews etc.. but I dont mind making small talk to strangers, saying hello to people I dont know, or being evaluated professionally... Its hard to explain... just in some cases its a lot worse than in others... even writing this is making me feel a little anxious

^Yeah I know where you're coming from. I also don't have much problem in making small talk or reading in front of class (okay I've a very little problem there) Its actually a lot hard for me to keep a conversation going and the other things that you mentioned.

I scored a 28, which means I have mild social anxiety. It's probably close to the truth, although, I thought I would have little to no anxiety.
