Stereotypes that annoy you

People who are blonde are not smart especially with math.
I have beat many people at math and with the textbook.

Teenagers do not care about anybody except themselves.
No, just no. I give away so much of my stuff to help people and put myself last. I'd give somebody the shirt off my back if they needed it

That all atheists are disrespectful and insult other religions and think they're better.
I respect all religions and don't convince anybody to become atheist. It's my personal choice. I am not better than anybody.

People with tattoos are either criminals or have problems.
WRONG. I know this guy, who has neck tattoos and all over his arm and he has a couple degrees in mathematics. Most smart AND nicest person I could know.

I was on some engineering forum once and I read a post that said "female engineers cannot design their way out of a toilet." Somewhere else on that forum I read a post like "women can do engineers, but women can't do engineering"

I don't want to live on this planet anymore
I do think you're a better engineer than I am.

Those people are just... retarted >.>

People assume that the shy, quiet ones don't want to befriend anyone. So they assume bullying them will convince them otherwise.

Religious people who think others being nonreligious or another different religion makes them evil or wrong and that their God is the right one. Not every person is a devil worshipper. And no one's god is the only right one either.

When people think paganism, witchcraft, and wicca are just beyond evil. Well I know that wiccans do follow a rule. Even if they did do these evil spells whatever they release comes back to bite the THREE TIMES worse.

Then there's the "you talk like a white person" stereotype towards black people. Now this one pisses me off to no end. You see, I speak proper English. Because of that, some people of my own race would make fun of my voice and assume that speaking English makes you think you're acting as if you're another race. Wtf.

There's nothing wrong with not speaking like you've failed third grade Grammar. Just because some of you were brainwashed to think learning to speak better English is a "white person thing" doesn't mean it is! Regardless of race, anybody could speak proper English. It's a good thing. You won't be seen as an incompetent person. Accents and slang isn't bad, but when you purposely have bad English, I just don't understand why. Then some say my "accent" is "white". Wtf again. A lot of others think I have a slight southern accent to be honest. In reality, I don't think I have an accent to begin with.

Anyway, practicing good English should be encouraged. End of discussion.

A stereotype that I hate, that people who drop out of High School are stupid, I dropped out because of my agoraphobia and my fear of being around others. People automatically assume that if you quit school you are dumb, I had to take my GED test to get a diploma of some kind, that's another thing that bothers me. People also like to assume that if you take a GED test that you are in fact stupid, I've heard people call it the "Ghetto Education Degree" and people who graduated high school themselves told me that you can't get into college with a GED and that I'd have to go to a community college, those same people who graduated from high school with a diploma couldn't even get into college. I scored above average on 3 of the tests which resulted in me getting into Salem State College as it was turning into a University. So, basically I hate the stereo type that drop outs aren't intelligent and can't go further in their education if they get a GED... some of the most successful people in the world have gotten their GED's

One of the times in the Army that I was so exhausted in training that I spoke to myself someone made fun of my 'accent'.. They mocked the way I said air and made a ton of Irish jokes.. Later that day I hid in my wall locker and read a book.. I have heard the white person thing before, never to myself though, but a guy I only know online on xbox; a group of black guys who didn't sound very intelligent were mocking my hispanic friend for sounding "really white". But I really agree with you on that, they really are afraid to be their own person and seem to adopt this really stupid way of speaking and acting and even dressing.. Half the time I can't even understand what it is they are trying to say..

I would have done the same as you, but my parents would not allow me to drop out.. I begged and pleaded with them to no avail. But on another note, my father has a GED and he is one of the most intelligent people I know. He scored the highest in the state at the time when he took his.

One I really hate is when people observe your perpetual silence and think the "quiet ones are the ones that snap and kill everybody."

^Yeah its the one that annoy me the most. Just because someone's quiet doesn't mean they're ticking time bombs.

1) Quiet people are rude, snobbish, serial killers, and are calculating.
2) Redheaded girls have freckles and are really ugly.
3) All hispanic people have brown skin and are vulgar.
4) People who live with their parents are babies
5) Guys with long hair are girly.
6) People who listen to old music are losers because they are not into trends.
7) Redheaded women carry bad luck and are vixens.
8) Nerdy guys can never get girls.

The third stereotype ticks me off because I am hispanic; I am half mexican and half domincan and I have red hair. Whenever I'm at school, people always have to ask me a million questions about my nationality since I look "different." When I tell them that I am Hispanic, they tell me why I'm white. The people at my school say "Hispanics aren't white, they're dark skinned and have dark hair." They have a hard time believing that I am Hispanic because I look European.

I hate them all in general, but it really pisses me off when I say I'm from Colombia and in response I get a stupid remark about drugs. Even if I'm no the biggest fan of my country.

Someone once found out I am Irish and I got a bunch of crap about being an alcoholic.. Because all Irish people are supposedly always intoxicated.. It is true you can tell the size of an Irish town by the number of pubs it has, but we are not all drunk all the time.I didn't really start drinking until I was almost 22 and I don't drink much. So I understand how you feel about the nationality stereotype..

I hate political correctness, democracy, machism/feminism and religion.
But one of the things that I hate the most is:

Anyone from USA,CANADA,EUROPE that tries to Love me because I am an exotic person from a Third World Country...(Brazil).

Really, when I see a leftist talking bull****, I almost vomit.
They are so full of good intentions... Easy to be a "I am good person, I love everyone" when you born in a first world country.

I love freedom of speech, cigaretts and alcohol.

Edit: By the way... I don't respect any religion/minority group. I respect the person as an individual. If someone talk too me saying: Hey, don't say that... I am from the group "bla bla blah"....

End of talk for me.

girls who aren't girly girls are lesbians,if you look at someone you either:1.want to have sex with them 2.hate them.
being interested in someone is stalkerish and creepy.
kindness is stupidity.

Guy wearing glasses is a nerd.

That.

Its very annoying. People always ask me to fix their computers and ask me if Im studying Computer Engineering or any Computer related degrees. I hardly finished high school, Im "retarded" when it comes to Math and I dont even have good computer skills other than playing video games on it. I never been to college and I'm unemployed.

1. The stereotype that quiet people are dumb or retarded. It's so not true.

2. The stereotype that a guy who hasn't had sex with many women or any women is gay. (I have nothing against gays, I'm just saying)

3. The stereotype that poor people are lazy and/or stupid.

4. The stereotype that someone who is quiet is manipulative.

5. The stereotype that a kind person is a weak person.

6. The stereotype that someone who drinks alcohol twice a week is an alcoholic.

7. The stereotype where people think someone is a loser because they don't have friends.

8. The stereotype that someone who is quiet can't be a good conversationalist.

9. The stereotype that someone who drinks alcohol needs psychiatric help.

10. The stereotype that someone who is quiet doesn't like anyone.

That's unfortunate. I get kangaroo remarks sometimes, although that's not such a bad thing as drugs.
