Strange Hobbies?

Do any of you have any strange hobbies that you like to do, such as for collections, taking courses, creating things, ect. I think now one of my hobbies is collecting sunglasses, but only because I think some look really cool and I don't have a lot of sunglasses that I wear. I don't know if I just changed over time and started developing different interests or something, but I wasn't sure if people thought that was weird.

My hobby now is writing poetry. I try to write something every day even if just a line or two.

People collect all sorts of things. I once met a guy who collected old buses (real ones). Must have cost him a fortune in garage space rental. Collecting sunglasses seems a lot more sensible.

Collecting sunglasses sounds pretty cool, actually. Considering the different designs you can get. Then again, I like weird so...

Strange hobbies? I used to write fan-fiction when I was like 10, y'know like way before I knew that was even a thing, like.

A few years ago I collected vinyl records - and combined them with my mum's small collection. Got a couple of early Iron Maiden and Metallica albums on vinyl. And my mum's still got the Guns N' Roses Appetite for Destruction vinyl with the original artwork.

I've have most of Stephen King's novels and short story collections. Paperback UK editions. Not sure what print they are, I'm guessing early 2000s. Since the cover illustrations are totally different to the re-published version I've seen in the last 6 years.

Oh, I've kept all the tickets from the comedy shows and music gigs I've attended since I was 15 years old. I'll have to hunt them out, but I think I've kept old calendars as well, like music related ones, though.

I also collected autographed music memorablia.

I've thought about writing poetry, but don't know if I'd be any good at it, since I wasn't much of a writer to begin with. :idontknow:

Thanks for everyone's replies so far. I would also like to share too that I would like to become a songwriter someday, although I know most people my age don't share the same kind of goals that I have. I think it's possible I might have a different mind set than those around me. I know that I'm different from a lot of girl my age, whom are mainly interested in dating, gossip, ect. Not all of them though, but I guess I just strive on to do things that are more productive.

There is nothing wrong with being different from the majority. Strange only means outside the norm and the norm isn't necessarily what we should aim for.

I don't think I have any strange hobbies other than studying when I don't have to since I'm not in school. That might be considered strange or nerdy, but it's only to get mental exercise. Gotta keep the mind sharp.

My strange hobby is life.

I collect Japanese manga/light novel/books, I posses about one thousand volumes athough I read like 5%, I'm reading them but it'll take its time to complete all of them.
Still eager to buy more, I think it is some kind of compulsive instinct :thinking:

I am trying breathing these days.

On a non-joking side, reading, blacksmithing, woodworking.
