Sweating on the chest and back

Hi there, I'm new to the forum. Has anyone been to successfully treat hyperhidrosis on the back and chest?

I've been dealing with it for a couple years now and I can't take it anymore.

Oxybutynin didn't work and neither did some other prescription pill I took a couple months ago.

Hi. I've suffered with excessive back (and to a lesser extent chest) sweating for many years as a side-effect of ETS surgery. Like you I've tried Ditropan, and also robinul, but neither was a long-term solution (e.g. I found the side-effects too much).
The only thing that I've found to help a little is Odaban. This is a prescription-strength spray produced in the UK. It doesn't help massively, but does a bit, and has very few side-effects (other than some slight skin irritation if too much is applied).
Best of luck.

I ordered Sage capsules and get them this week. If they don't work then I'll try Odaban. Thanks.

I didn't think those antiperspirants worked anywhere but the armpit.

Hi CitySleeps5,

I also suffer with sweating on the back and chest. But my back is the worst.
I have tried Oxybitunin (which is another version of ditroban). It did work for me but after a while of using it I found the side affects too much.

I have tried Odaban and also Drysol anteperspirant. These are similar products but I found Drysol worked best for me. I use Drysol with the roll-on applicator. I use it on my armpits, back and chest. I found it works amazing, my armpits stop and my back and chest are 90% less sweating.
I apply Drysol at night, an hour or so before bed. It tingles like crazy..... really tingles!!. But in the morning when I wake up It's great. No excessive sweating. No tingling. Just feeling normal. And it lasts for weeks before my excessive returns. Then I just reapply.
I recommend you try it. For me Drysol worked better than Odaban.

Also I have tried sage tablets and made no difference for me.

Wish you all the best.

I sweat all over randomly after slight movement or after eating. Summer body sweating is the worst. I've just accept it. Been that way since I was a tot.
