Sweaty chest and back. Advice needed.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum I can't believe I haven't found it sooner, it is so great to know I am not the only sufferer and it's great to read all your treatments.

I've had HH since I was a teenager, I inherited it from my mum, I had ETS surgery when I was about 14 years old and I deeply regret it, since then I have suffered from Compensatory HH, so no longer does my face and hands sweat but my chest and back pours out and I hate it.

I currently take propantheline bromide which does work for me but the side effects are horrible, I will however remain on them until I find another alternative (I've seen a few on this forum already and will discuss with my doctor)

I literally sweat all day everyday, If I was butt naked in the Antarctica I'd be bloody cold but I'd still be sweating.

What is hard for me is being at work, my current job is really relaxed and im dormant most days but still sweat profusely if im not overdosed on pro-banthine, However, I'm due to start a new job in the next few weeks and this is a more manual job which I am super excited about but super worried too because of my sweating, I need to wear a uniform so its not ideal to have 10+ work shirts so i can change regularly.

My aim is to find some sweat pads or premade tshirts that I can wear under my work shirt, to stop the sweat soaking through, Ive found loads of sites that sell sweat pads for armpits but nothing for my chest and back, would anyone here know of a place that supplies these?

In my previous job my sweating was so bad that I had to stitch puppy training pads in to the front and back of my undershirt to soak up the sweat, it was so uncomfortable and embarrassing and it didn't really work well because when it got full it would break up like the inside of a nappy (diaper).

I live in the UK so these American sites which sell sweatproof tshirts are expensive for me, surely someone else must know of a UK supplier or even a washable material / fabric that I could stitch into my undershirt and reuse that?

All advice is truly grateful!

Thanks,
Aaron.

I wish I could advise you, but I'm an American.

Anyone else reading this should note the DANGERS of ETS. What Aaron has is not reversible. Something to consider is what Aaron is going through.
If you are someone who already sweats throughout your body can you imagine what ETS would do to you? This is the reason I opted against ETS.

Aaron, I hope you find what you need in the UK. I'm sure someone must sell this stuff. I also once suggested using a waterproofing chemical that is used on sofa's and cloth chairs etc. I'm not sure if it's safe or not, yet might be something to look into.
