first, sorry about my poor english. i'm from israel...
maybe u can help me.
i'm 29 and started sweating only 1 year ago. it started only under my arms and a few month later spread to my palms. 2 month ago my feets became sweaty too.
the strange thing is that when i come back home from university, it desapears almost completely!
it apears when i get out of the house or when i'm not alone (for example- my friends came to visit). i noticed it gets realy bad if i'm stressed (then its changing from damp to terribly wet.
i dont know what to do. my dr says there's no solution but surgery, but i realy don't want to do it. i'm also afraid of all those creams- like anhydrol forte (this is the popular one in israel) or driclor, cause it feels to me that there isn't enough information about it. somene knows about side effects in the long term? is it possible that using it on specific area will cause sewating in another area?
how exactly it works? does it block the glands? cause if that's the case' it doesnt sound so healthy.
in the neantime i started using a cream for underarms/feets-the name is HLAVIN. its not supposed to stop sweating, only to stop the smell. have u heard about it? i was told it can also reduce sweating. anyone tried it?
help, i'm becoming obssessed about it :(
thanks, dina

thank u for your responses

since my sweating began only one year ago, i believe it's psychological.
in the past, i suffered from candida and neither the conventional nor the alternative medicine succeeded to help me. it finally disappeared when my mental health improved. i feel its a similiar situation. i was (am) very stressed in the last 3 years, plus i was in a problematic relationship.
i believe that if u start sweating, your body tries to tell u something. for me- it's screaming- "relax and let go". (i'm not talking about the situation u have it since birth)

hi again :)
unfortunately i don't have the money to go to psychologist or something like this....
but still, i believe the sweating is only a symptom,so i'm trying to deal with the real problem which is my stress.
i noticed that when i'm afraid of sweating, it's getting worse, so what i'm trying to do this days is to eccept my sweating. i know it may sounds like a new age cliche, but this is what i'm really trying to do.
i tried to go to university this week with a different attitude. when i sweat (and it happens a lot there....), i try to accept it and not be so hysterical about it as i used to be.
actually, it was a little bit better...
i'll let u know how it's going.... (if u want :D )
