That expression

Everyone has heard the expression is your glass half full or half empty. Well what do you think?

Here's my answer, if the glass was filled up to half way, its half full, if it was poured out its half empty. If you can't tell then it would have usually been filled up.

Little random I know but I'm wondering if anyone else has ever thought of this?

What's in the glass, though? :>

EDIT: For me it'll always be half full, because zero(empty) divided by two is zero(empty). It's clearly not empty.
Though your explanation is quite reasonable as well, Tab :p.

Intresting, I was thinking about that a little while ago... I don't consider how full or empty it is. that's too hard, it more where the glass is and is it even water that the glass is filled with if you can't see it clearly...

Depends on whether you're going to drink/pour its contents or fill it up some more. If you're in the process of drinking/pouring its contents, it's half empty; if you're filling it, then it's half full.
