the meaning of life

What is the meaning of life, I'm not that there is one. I feel many of us are searching for some meaning in our lives. I guess it is the eternal question, with many plausible answers

there's generally no meaning than to survive and reproduce. That's how we got to where we are today. the beings that reproduced allowed their genes to be passed down.

So we can top each other, if everyone lived a fancy life, was educated and healthy then there would be no point to most things, Thus is why there will always be poor and sick people on Earth until the Milky Way crashes with another galaxy (or however). Just my thoughts.....I don't even know if I fully agree with what I said, I am just adding to conversation because I like questions like this.

I'm not sure myself. But I believe we all want to do something positive. Facing our fears. Living our dreams. Finding the one. Love keeps us alive. We never stop learning till the day we die.

Well said, couldn't agree with you more :)

This is pretty much what I was gonna say. I don't think there's any meaning or reason that we're here other than the fact that our ancestors fought so hard to survive. Now that we're here, in the age we live in, the only thing to do is enjoy what we've been given and pass it on.

The meaning of life is absolutely nothing. We expect it to be something so deep and complex we miss the fact it's really just nothing.

I don't think there is, it's like we want it to have a meaning so badly that we think there is one. Life as being going on for millions of years, yet no one even know the answer

Learning how not to be miserable. Seriously. I think life is all about learning how to be happy. That's it. If you ask me that's challenge enough.

We're still so primitive. For however long the world has been going, imagine it going twice as long, how life would be like. Because it's not really the year 2012. That seems like such a small number. It's amazing that people have been keeping track of that for 2,012 years. How did everyone get on the same page in year 1? There was no communication between continents. I'd have to say that it's gotta be a few days off, at least, if not whole months and years. Not even counting B.C. or before that.

Life is just too weird to describe. Nothing really matters or is worth getting riled up about.
