I think the webmaster has it set up wrong accidently, it makes it so anyone can ban people. That must mean why you are getting that message probably.

i have posted in that official annoucement chat room sticky as have others...another forum member has aslo pm'd remus directly about it asking if he can move the room to another server or whatever to fix the problem, so i didn't bother..i know it might not be that easy to fix but doesn't seem like much is being done.
