Does anyone know about sending mail internationally?

I don't know if this thread is acceptable for this topic... anyways.

I just want to send a letter thats only ONE SHEET OF PAPER to someone in Germany. I live in the USA and I don't know how much this cost. The letter most likely is very light but I don't know how much it weighs but do you know how much it would cost. Do I just use the stamps to pay for it. Because I am not close to any post offices(if I walk, I dont drive so that is a problem). I just want to put it in a little post box for it to be sent off. Please give me any website that can help me see what I have to do.

Have you got some scales in the kitchen? or some bathroom scale, they might not be accurate but they'll give you an idea of the weight.

So your letter should probably be under one ounce.
